Fantastic turn out at our Open Evening last night
We had a fantastic turn out at our Open Evening last night where around 700 visitors heard from Dr Valentine and her team about the plans for Croxley Danes School. We were delighted with the many positive comments we received after the event and pleased to be able to answer questions from a number of prospective parents. We were also delighted to receive a number of applications, the first from Katie, who is pictured above with Dr Valentine.
Those who were not able to attend are encouraged to visit the St Clement Danes School's main Open Day. This takes place on Saturday 8th October from 9am to 12pm and will provide parents and students with a flavour of the kind of school we plan to create at Croxley Danes. We will have a stand in the Conference Room, adjacent to the Barbirolli Hall, and members of the team will be on hand to answer questions and accept applications.
We have been asked to provide the powerpoint slides from the evening which can be found on the Admissions page here. It is worth saying that they contain only the headlines of our plans and there were fuller explanations in the speeches which accompanied them. We are in the process of updating our Frequently Asked Questions page with the information we provided at the Open Evening. If parents have not yet taken part in the Public Consultation, they can do so by clicking here.
