First Carol Service for Croxley Danes

Tonight saw a number of students from Croxley Danes performing for the first time at a Christmas Carol Service. The school was delighted to accept an invitation to take part in St Clement Danes' annual concert and 12 students performed, many in a dramatic recital of Colin McNaughton's poem 'Santa Claus is Superman' which was very well received. One of our students, Layla, opened the evening sharing the solo in 'Once in Royal David's City' and another, Katie, performed in the 2nd Orchestra. We would like to thank all those parents who came along, the music and drama teachers for their work in rehearsing the items and our students, whose talent and obvious enjoyment was plain to see. We are now looking forward to seeing a number of our students taking part in 'Grease' - the joint schools' musical which runs from 28th February to 2nd March next year. Put the date in your diaries!
