Thorpe Park Trip
Danes Student Journalist, Ayush Patel 7G, reports ...
On Wednesday 3rd July, around 90 students from Year 7 and Year 8 went to Thorpe Park. This was because their attitude to learning was amazing or their attitude was great, they had 100% attendance AND they had over 45 merits in two terms. It was a great achievement and most people were very excited. Unfortunately, there was a police incident which delayed our school bus route. This therefore also limited our time at Thorpe Park. We got there at around 10:30am and were allowed to go off in our groups. This was a big responsibility as we also had check-in times with the teacher to call them and to see if everyone in our group was okay. We got on the buses to go back to our school at 4:45pm and left at 5:00pm. We got back at about 6:45pm and finally got picked up by our parents. We all had a tiring but amazing time at Thorpe Park and wished we could have stayed longer.
