November Sports Fixtures
Year 7
The Year 7 netball team had an impressive win against Westfield Academy with a 12-1 win. Congratulations to Evelyn. C who was awarded with player of the match.
The Year 7 boys’ football team continued their success into the 4th round of the Schools Football National Cup beating Brentwood County High School 3-2. Well done to Josh. S for winning player of the match. Unfortunately, they lost 6-0 in the 4th round of the National Cup to Hurstmere School. Well done to all players involved it was a fantastic effort by the entire team.
Year 8
Another fantastic month of wins for the U13 girls football team who continue to hold onto their clean sheet. The team went storming into the quarter final of the County Cup with an amazing effort by scoring 5 goals against Kings Langley school and a 6-3 win against Parmiter’s School.
Year 9
It was a dark and cold evening recently for the Year 9 netball team but this didn’t stop them winning against Reach Free school 4-0 and a 3-3 draw against Immanuel College. Congratulations to our students for a solid performance and especially to Lara. M and Amelie. L who were both awarded player of the match.
The Year 9 boys’ football team had an incredible game against Laureate and won 3-0 in the National Cup. Unfortunately, they lost in the 4th round to Hurtsmere. It was a solid performance from everyone involved and they should be very proud of themselves.
Congratulations to the winners of the Under 16 District Table Tennis championship: Charlie. F, Jack. B, Nishan S and Liam. B. This is a great achievement to accomplish given that the team is comprised of 14 and 15 year olds. We are looking forward to the upcoming County Championships.
Year 10
Congratulations to the Year 10 netball team for their two wins this month: Immanuel College (4-3) and Reach Free school (10-9). Congratulations to Erin. F who received player of the match for both games. Well done girls and special commendation to the other two schools, as they were very close games.
Congratulations to the Year 10 boys’ football team for their fantastic 4-1 victory in the County Cup game against Laureate school. The boys showed commitment and dedication throughout the match. Special congratulations to Nave. S who received player of the match.
Finally, our Year 10 girls' football team won 2-0 vs Parmiter's in the District League this week.
