A Level residential to North Devon
On 1st October the year 12 Art A level students when on a residential to North Devon. They spent 4 days exploring the dramatic coastline. Thankfully the weather was fantastic and they were able to produce large drawings and paintings while sitting on the edge of the cliffs or beaches.
On the 3rd day students had a woodblock workshop with the internationally renounced artist Merlyn Chesterman. She was so impressed with the students work ethic. She even mentioned that she felt inspired to create a series of work based on theirs!
The weekend was filled with cakes, seals and stunning views. Students created some amazing pieces of work and memories that will last a lifetime.
