15th OctoberEqualities Team Leads Autism Awareness Assembly at Local School
On Tuesday 21st May, Adrien, Skylar and William from our school Equalities Team were invited to Chater Junior School to deliver an assembly on autism awareness and celebrate the people in our community and beyond who live with autism spectrum condition.
The children of Chater School listened perfectly throughout the assembly as our students shared resources from the National Autistic Society and gave examples of celebrities with autism such as Chris Packham, Greta Thunberg and Anthony Hopkins.
We are very proud of the students for sharing their experiences, knowledge and learning so thoughtfully and openly. Headteacher of Chater Junior School, Mrs Khindey, described our students as ‘a real credit to Croxley Danes’.
