Support & Challenge
At Croxley Danes School, we are committed to forging excellent relationships with our parents based on open and frequent communication and a mutual concern for the well-being and progress of all our students. We are delighted that so many parents involve themselves in the life of the school by contributing to the Parents' Association or volunteering their help in other ways.
we have always looked forward to working closely with parents to provide a truly local school for local children
We use a broadcast e-mail system for regular correspondence. Our annual cycle of communication about student progress and curriculum matters includes:
- Parents’ Evening
- Information Evenings
- Online Reporting - providing up to date information about students' attitude to learning and academic progress in a format which is easily accessible for parents
- Themed evenings on such topics as 'Living with a teenager', 'Developing Self-Esteem and Confidence in Teens' and 'Managing e-safety at Home'
We encourage parents to maintain contact with us at other times via their child’s Form Tutor, or, when appropriate, via Heads of Faculty or Subject Leaders, or, in case of a serious concern, a member of the Senior Leadership Team. Detailed guidance on how to contact us so that we can best address enquiries is always provided to parents prior to their child joining the school.
We update our Twitter feed regularly, so parents and prospective parents may want to follow us online.
We hope that you will find the information you require on the pages of this website, but if there is other information you would like to see here, please do let us know using the form on the Contact Us page.
