National Numeracy Day
On Wednesday 19th May Croxley Danes School participated in National Numeracy Day by celebrating everything related to numbers and problem solving.
During the morning all year groups participated in a Numeracy quiz to gain House points and some of the students were captured in action on the CDS Maths Faculty twitter feed, so please do take a look @CDSMaths.
The Humanities faculty certainly embraced the day, highlighting to students how important the use of numeracy is within their subject area.
We were also delighted to hear from an employee at KPMG who answered our students’ questions about using numbers at work and in everyday life, giving us an interesting insight into the world of cyber security.
