Welcoming Our Students to the New Site

On 2^nd September we were delighted to welcome our new cohort of Year 7 students to our brand new accommodation in Baldwins Lane. The students have made a good first impression. They have been impeccably behaved and have already impressed with their enthusiastic approach to their studies. They evidently are enjoying the new facilities which include a drama hall, sports hall, assembly hall, science labs, technology workshops and ICT hubs to name but a few and within the next few weeks tennis courts and a floodlit AstroTurf will also be handed over by the contractor for the school use.

The Year 10 students, who have been with the school since its initial opening in 2017 and until last term based at Tolpits Lane, were particularly pleased at the prospect of engaging with their new GCSE’s in their new setting.

Mr Thompson, Headteacher, stated “I am delighted at how well the new Year 7 students have fitted in with their peers and it is great to see all our students so pleased with their new facilities and surroundings.”

It seems the new academic year has got off to an exciting start for all, students and staff alike.
