Wellbeing Fair for Mental Health Awareness Week

Last week, students and staff marked Mental Health Awareness Week with a Wellbeing Fair held during lunchtime on Wednesday 15th May. There were stalls decorated with bunting offering a range of activities for students to get involved in, including origami, rock painting, mask decorating and frisbee golf - all offering ‘ways to well-being’.

Well done to all the students who participated in the frisbee golf, taking turns to throw frisbees through a series of hoops in the playground and attempting to complete the course in as few shots as possible. Daniel K and Zahra Z completed the course in 15 and 13 shots respectively and Will S made it in 11 shots on his third attempt.

Thank you to all the staff and students involved with the organisation and delivery of the activities, in particular the Equalities and Wellbeing teams who showed impressive leadership skills and were so helpful on the day. The fair proved to be a wonderful event with everyone enjoying the sunshine together and having a fantastic time!
