Applications for Secondary Transfer 2027
Applications are now open for Secondary Transfer 2026. Parents need to apply online via Hertfordshire County Council here. The application deadline is October 31st 2026.
Please note, a Supplementary Information Form (SIF) is only required for students applying under the Musical Aptitude criterion or Children of Staff criterion.
Late Applications
The last date for late applications is 1st December 2026. A written explanation must be submitted to Herts County Council giving reasons why your application was late, for your application to be agreed as ‘on time’.
If you move house, this is the last date for you to provide evidence of your new address to Herts County Council and for it to be considered ‘on time’ in the allocation process.
Any applications received after the 29th January 2027 will not be offered a school place until the week commencing 26th April 2027 in the second and final continuing interest round.
National Allocation Day – 1st March 2027
National Allocation Day 2027 will be on Monday 1st March 2027 when you will be notified via email of the school place your child has been allocated for September 2027.
You will need to accept or decline your place as soon as possible or by 8th March at the latest via your local authority, do not accept/confirm your place with the school.
