Residential Trip Overview for Parents

We recognise the value of trips as part of our enrichment programme. We aim to:

  • Offer all pupils the opportunity to attend a residential trip during Year 7

  • Offer all pupils a minimum of one subject related day trip per year during Key Stage 3

  • Provide the opportunity for pupils to participate in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and the expeditions associated with this.

  • Ensure that we meet exam board requirements for off site fieldwork at Key Stage 4 and 5.

  • Offer all Sixth form pupils the opportunity to participate in subject based trips and facilitate students attending up to three University Open Days

  • Provide opportunities for pupils to be considered for additional reward trips and/or school based experiences.

  • Offer appropriate financial support for compulsory and enrichment educational visits

Please see below an overview of planned and provisional residential trips to support parents in making decisions with regard to participation on any upcoming trips.
