Author and Journalist Charlotte Seager Visits Croxley Danes School

Croxley Danes School were delighted to welcome author and journalist Charlotte Seager this week. Charlotte gave a fantastic presentation to our Year 8 students, speaking about the use of social media and the impact information which is shared online can have. She spoke to the students about their digital footprint before introducing her recent novel “Follow Me, Like Me…” which shows the darker side of social media.

Charlotte joined The Times and The Sunday Times as engagement editor, prior to releasing her debut novel “My [Secret] YouTube Life”.

The students were extremely well behaved and asked some insightful questions during the question and answer session. After the presentation there was an opportunity for students who had requested it, to meet Charlotte and receive a signed copy of her book.
