Charities Day a huge success
Last week saw our inaugural Charities event where the students put on a variety of activities to raise money for our chosen charities: Meningitis Now and the Peace Hospice. A huge quantity of sugar was sold and eaten in the name of charity on Tuesday lunch time and students also put on a beat the goalie and name the teddy competition. Staff and prefects did a great job of overseeing the stalls, but we were incredibly impressed with how little they were needed! Together with a non-uniform day held on Friday, a huge £1700 was raised to split between the charities. Congratulations to all the students for this fantastic effort and thank you to all the parents who supported financially!
