The Young Film-makers Competition 2020

The Drama faculty are very excited to announce the launch of a film competition in collaboration with The Chorleywood Film Club, ‘The Young Film-makers Competition 2020’ of which David Yates, award winning and acclaimed director of the final four Harry Potter films, is the club’s patron. Eleanor Dolan, key organizer from The Chorleywood Film Club, attended the school to give a briefing on the entry requirements. Students from Years 7 through to 13 can apply from local schools and are requested to submit a short film in any genre by the 24^th February 2020. All films are to be screened at The Chorleywood Film Festival on the 14^th March where the winners in their subsequent categories will be announced. The judging panel itself includes BAFTA award winner Graham Ralph. The competition is a great opportunity for Croxley Danes students to showcase their creative and film making flare and provides students a fantastic venture to collaborate with their friends!
