Remembrance Day at Croxley Danes

On 11^th November we marked Remembrance Day at Croxley Danes. We held assemblies for each year group with a focus on remembering the wider impacts of war. Our drama department created a short and poignant piece based on present day conflict. We also had two short reading based on World War 1 and 2.

At 11.00am the whole school gathered outside where a one-minute silence was held. The last post was performed by some of our talented musicians and the schools choir performed a special war time song.

In addition to our activities in school, Croxley Danes will also be represented at the Croxley Green Remembrance event on Sunday 14^th November at the War Memorial where two of our students will be presenting a wreath on behalf of the school.
