Celebrating Holi - A Colourful Tribute to Diversity

To celebrate the Hindu festival of Holi, the Festival of Colours, our students and staff have had a wonderful time this week, showcasing their creativity by designing and crafting an art installation to be displayed in the school corridor. This vibrant installation is a tribute to diversity, inclusion, and equality.

A huge thank you to Mrs Borrill in Art and Mr Luffman in Design and Technology for their invaluable support in bringing this project to life, as well as to Mrs Tokeria, who leads the Hindu Society, for originally coming up with the idea. We also appreciate the encouragement from Mrs Richards, the school Equalities Lead.

We are also very grateful to the student volunteers from the Safe Space Group and the Equalities Teams for assisting with preparing the letters last week and ensuring everything ran smoothly. We can’t wait to see the installation proudly displayed.

The Hindu Society is just one of many religious and cultural societies offered at Croxley Danes, celebrating the rich diversity within our school community.
