Year 7 Students Brave the Cold to Tackle Homelessness

On Friday evening, Year 7 students Louis, Benji, and Roman took part in the Watford Sleep Out at Vicarage Road for the second year running. The event, aimed at raising awareness and funds to tackle homelessness in Watford, saw the boys braving freezing temperatures, with the night reaching a chilly -2°C. Despite the cold, the trio managed to get a few hours sleep, all in support of a worthwhile cause.

Throughout the evening, they had the opportunity to hear inspiring speeches from young people who have been supported by local charities such as DENS, YMCA, and New Hope. These talks provided a powerful insight into the impact these organisations have in helping individuals find shelter and rebuild their lives.

So far, the boys have raised an impressive £600 for the cause. We are incredibly proud of their dedication to making a difference in the community.
