World Book Day Door Decorating Competition

This month, our school was transformed into a literary wonderland as students and staff embraced the World Book Day ‘decorate your door’ competition with enthusiasm and creativity. From classic children’s tales to gripping novels, the corridors were filled with incredible designs that showcased a love for reading and storytelling.

The effort and imagination displayed by our students was fantastic, making it an incredibly tough decision for the judges - Chair of Governors, Mrs Thorn and Deputy Headteacher, Miss Olivier.

The winners were as follows - 

Form Group Winners

7G – The Gruffalo’s Child
8G – Wicked
9C – The Hunger Games
10D – Spiderman
11G – Mr Men & Little Miss
12SRI – The Handmaid’s Tale
13AH – Shakespeare and Company

Faculty Winners

Science – Jurassic Park
Technology – The Wizard of Oz

Thank you to all the students and teachers who participated and supported this initiative. Your passion for literature and dedication to bringing books to life made this event a great success.

We can’t wait to see what amazing designs our learners come up with next year!
